IPA® is a software application that enables oncology researchers to better understand the molecular basis of cancer and identify mechanisms of response (sensitivity, resistance) to cancer drugs. With IPA, researchers can analyze molecular profiling data from multiple platforms (gene expression, methylation, proteomics, miRNA, SNPs), search for information on targets, biomarkers and cancer drugs, and build their own biological models. IPA provides cancer researchers with access to a wealth of information on genes implicated in cancer-related processes and pathways, biological effects of chemotherapeutic drugs, as well as the tools necessary to generate testable hypotheses, discover new cancer targets, and identify and translate markers of disease and drug efficacy into the clinic.
