The training workshop pass includes a 2 week training license for IPA + Advanced Analytics for each participant.

Participants MUST bring their own laptop.

Course Highlights

  • Advanced Analytics
    • Extension of the core functionality of IPA for advanced users, bioinformaticians, and bioanalysts
      • BioProfiler
      • Casual Networks
  • Advanced IPA and Data Integration
    • Advanced ‘Search & Explore’.  Hands-on case study using the tools of IPA, including the Build & Overlay tools and BioProfiler, to explore different in silico hypotheses of molecular relationships, pathway effects and functional consequences of molecular activity changes.
    • Advanced Core Analysis with the Cause-and-Effect functionality using a case study of the temporal transcriptional changes observed during the differentiation of mouse embryonic stem cells to cardiomyocytes
    • Proteomics Analysis in IPA
  • Working with microRNAs
    • Find microRNAs that affect a pathway or gene of interest, and access relevant literature
    • Analyze microRNA data to identify and prioritize targets or predicted targets
    • Explore downstream of target genes for phenotypes, diseases, or pathways
